JUKI to launch two new high speed mounters
With the release of the FX-3R – High Speed Modular Mounter, and the KE-3020V – High Speed Flexible Mounter, JUKI refines high-speed, high-precision technology. Also, brand new on the market, the TR-7D high speed matrix server increases the efficiency of the placement process.
FX-3R | High Speed Modular Mounter
Developed under JUKI’s “3E EVOLUTION” concept, the ever evolving FX series has been redesigned for ease of use, efficiency, cost effectiveness and increased expandability as well as compatibility. By utilising new, highly efficient linear servomotors, lightening and stiffening the head unit and reviewing the placement sequence the FX-3R has an effective tact time of 66,000 cph (ipc 9850).
KE-3020V | High Speed Flexible Mounter
The KE-3020V is the 7th generation modular placement machine from JUKI and represents the latest leading-edge technology for improved flexibility and production quality. It supports a hybrid feeder mix of electronic and mechanical feeders, with up to 160 dual lane electronic 8mm tape feeder capacity per machine and a maximum board size of 610mm x 560mm. The KE-3020V in combination with the optional linear and rotary fluxer is the ideal solution for PoP (package on package).
High-Speed, On-the-Fly Vision Centering
The new on-the-fly vision centering dramatically increases the placement speed by eliminating time wasting stops over the camera. Parallel processing of images means components are ready for placement as soon as the head reaches the placement coordinates.
High-Speed Feeding of Tray Components (Option)
The TR-7D high speed matrix server is equipped with dual magazines and drive systems to present two different trays at the same time. This method eliminates wasted time during tray exchanges and increases the placement efficiency. The TR-7D is compatible with JUKI’s KE-3010, KE-3020 and KE-3020V placement mounters. In the near future the KE-2070 and KE-2080 will also be supported. This rear mount tray server presents entire trays to the machine for direct picking (no intermediate shuttle hand off). Therefore it is ideal for odd shaped components or those with bottom side features that make shuttle handling difficult or impossible (such as connectors or some BGAs).
