Manufacturing High-complexity Prints

SYSTEL SA, a company of the CICOR Technologies Group, is the centre of competence for high-mix, low-volume products within the EMS division. SYSTEL SA offers complete product lifecycle management in electronics production, from the product idea through to industrial mass production.

The growth of high-mix products produced at SYSTEL SA is matched by the continual optimising of logistics and production. In taking the decision on a second SMT, 'Lowest Cost of Ownership' and flexibility were the two most important criteria. High flexibility is an essential criterion for the high-mix product portfolio of the company. However, it also places the highest demands on reliability, precision and user-friendliness. The investment decision for a production line with a KE2060R and a KE2050R from JUKI and a 10-zone reflow oven was taken in September 2007. In mid-December the line went into service. Within one week the production of a high-complexity print could be transferred onto the new line.   

The location of Quartino in Tisino (CH) also profits from the range of customer services offered by the PRODELEC Group. Where necessary it is possible to draw on services from Milan or Switzerland.
