It was under this motto the annual international sales meeting of Juki Automation Systems Europe took place from the 28th to the 30th January in Solothurn (CH). After the announcement of another record breaking achievement in 2007, it was shown to the participants just how JUKI continuously celebrates such success. Additonally, during these two days the goal of becoming the No.1 supplier of SMT pick & place systems in the world with regard to both modules sold and turnover was also clearly communicated, together with the means of achieving this goal.
 For many years, JUKI has celebrated record breaking achievement after record breaking achievement. This persistent success is based on extremely reliable machines as well as numerous contented customers. "Lowest Cost of Ownership" is not only a slogan for JUKI but also a company philosophy, which is quite clearly confirmed by its customers in the annual satisfaction surveys ? a philosophy that will be key for JUKI in the future too.
The excellent reputation of JUKI in the SMT market and a specific product strategy has, in recent years, allowed JUKI to surpass the theoretical market growth of " Frost and Sullivan ? by a large percentage. In 2007 alone, sales projects were able to be successfully concluded with 36 new customers. The best advertisement for JUKI is the publicity of satisfied customers in the market, passed on by word of mouth. Moreover, numerous examples of this were presented to the audience during the meeting.
During recent years, JUKI has invested a great deal of money in research and development of innovative new products. At Productronica the European première of the new FX-3, a High Speed Chip Shooter with a working performance of 60,000 cmp/h, was celebrated. At its premier, JUKI was proud to be able to accept the Global SMT Award for the Product of the Year in the Pick & Place Systems sector for the FX3, as well as recognition that JUKI was currently the fastest growing company in the SMT pick and place machines sector. Other products will follow in the near future, on the way to number 1.
In accordance with the motto, "work before play", on this occasion, time for relaxation was naturally not forgotten. Hence many participants stood on ice for the first time, in order to try curling. A fine, home brewed beer in the well-known "Alten Tramdepot? in Bern (CH),as well as fine food at the "Gurten", on Bern's Hausberg, rounded off the day.
