Reliable measurement of fine-pitch components Lighting is the essence of any vision system. It defines reflections, shadowing and contrast. In order to measure standard components as well as very delicate ones Juki has developed an extensive and extremely versatile lighting system (FlexLighting). The system uses three different illumination angles and colors. Optimum illumination is stored in the software database for all standard components. The operator can quickly adapt all parameters for new and special component types.

Higher throughput for fine-pitch components Using the optional multi-nozzle vision centering (MNVC), fine-pitch components up to 20 x 20 mm can be measured and centered on the quadruple placement head. This almost doubles the placement rate for small fine-pitch components.
